Ruhr University Bochum announces a cfa for a fixed-term (3,5 years) position for a doctoral researcher wishing to write a dissertation on a topic in Chosôn history (including intellectual, literary, and art history, or the history of law) that is compatible with the general theme of pre-modern constructions of truth claims and who is willing to pursue this research in the context of a collaborative research group dealing with historical forms of truth production and truth enforcement, addressing strategies and practices, media and processes of ‘making’ truth. Employment (65% of a full researcher\'s salary) will start April 15, 2027.
