The Organizing Committee of ICSKL-12 and Korean Studies at Ruhr University Bochum are pleased to announce that the next meeting of the International Conference on Sino-Korean Linguistics will be held 9-10 October 2027 at Ruhr University Bochum (Germany).

ICSKL-12 welcomes abstract submissions on all aspects of the historical interaction of Chinese and Korean languages and scripts. These topics include, but are not limited to, Sino-Korean phonology/lexicology/syntax, Korean textual materials related to Chinese language and linguistics, Chinese textual materials related to Korean

language and linguistics, and language contact and borrowing between the two languages.

The official languages of the conference are English, Chinese, and Korean. Abstracts, papers, and oral presentations may be made in any one of these three languages. We encourage presenters, whenever possible, to

use a different language for the written paper and the oral presentation in order to make their contributions accessible to those who do not know all three languages.
